We are a beauty spa located in Playa Potrero, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Our founder worked for over 17 years in spas, and upon realizing that locals in the area lacked affordable, high-quality salon and spa services, she decided to leave everything behind and open Nenúfar. She applied a philosophy aligned with the meaning of its beautiful name, as the water lily was considered a symbol of purity and perfection in ancient times. This is because these water lilies have a remarkable ability to cleanse the waters where they grow, transforming them into something pure and beautiful. Adding to this is the spiritual meaning of the water lily, which represents rebirth and regeneration. The plant has the ability to close its flowers at the end of the day and open them again the following day, seemingly being reborn each day. This life cycle is a reminder that there is always an opportunity to start anew, to renew oneself, and to leave behind the old and the negative.
